Cuthbert: This squad is more than capable of stepping up to the challenge

The Blues will now turn their attention to our first home fixture of the new campaign against Everton and Cuthbert hopes with the return of our Olympians, as well as the support of our fans, Chelsea can get the season properly up-and-running against the Toffees this weekend.

‘I’m excited to be back at Kingsmeadow, in front of our home fans and hopefully they will give us the momentum to kick on against Everton,’ she added.

‘This is a team that’s not going to dwell on a loss. We are going to work even harder in training, we’ll go back to the drawing board and we will pay even more attention to the detail, both tactically and physically.’

Tickets for our first home game of the season against Everton are now available and can be purchased here.
