Madrid are finally beginning to move up the table as they overtook Valencia to move into third place. Still seven points behind second place Atletico Madrid, and 14 behind leaders Barcelona, Madrid need to maintain this run ensure a respectable finish to the season.

Keylor Navas remains first choice in goal for Madrid.
Sergio Ramos completes a suspension and is likely to return to the starting lineup. Raphael Varane and Dani Carvajal keep their places in Madrid’s first choice lineup.
Marcelo continues to recover from an upper-leg problem and is not expected to return until March. Theo Hernandez will continue to cover for the Brazilian in his absence.
Madrid continue to be without midfield duo Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. Modric recovers from a muscle injury, while Kroos is sidelined with a knee problem until the beginning of March.
Casemiro and Mateo Kovacic could continue their partnership in the middle of the park. Flanking them could be Isco, who has five goals and four assists in the league this term, and Marco Asensio who has 10 goals in all competitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo is in his usual fine form. With 12 goals in his last seven matches, he will be sure to start on Tuesday as Madrid begin to climb La Liga once again.
Gareth Bale put in a man of the match performance in his last games against Alaves. With a goal in that game as well, the Welshman now has 10 goals in all competitions this term.
