Real Madrid host Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday evening, as they look to return to winning ways in La Liga following defeat to Espanyol on Tuesday.
Zinedine Zidane will have one eye on next week’s Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain as he selects his team, and could rest key players including Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Marcelo.
Keylor Navas looks set to retain his place in goal for Los Blancos.
Brazilian left-back Marcelo has returned to training this week, however it is unlikely that Zidane will risk playing the defender in this match with their Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain on the horizon.
Dani Carvajal could return to the side having been rested for Tuesday night’s defeat to Espanyol, and Nacho may retain his place at left-back.
Casemiro looks set for a return to the starting eleven, as he needs to remain match sharp and help Real Madrid return to winning ways in La Liga. He looks likely to be partnered by Mateo Kovacic in an anchoring midfield partnership.
Isco will keep his place in the number 10 role, with Lucas Vázquez and Marco Asensio set to play either side of him.
Having being rested for the defeat to Español, Ronaldo has been tipped to start the game against Getafe. Real Madrid need as many victories in La Liga as possible.
However, he may not play the full 90 minutes as Zidane will be keeping the Paris Saint-Germain fixture at the forefront of his mind.
