PSG sporting director Leonardo is keen to launch an ambitious bid to sign Real Madrid starlet Takefusa Kubo this summer.

AS are reporting that Leonardo has been dazzled by the Japanese’s natural talents and is looking to make a move for the youngster. However, Real Madrid are adamant that Kubo wants to stay with the midfielder also having a buy-out cause of €250m in his contract.
At least 29 other clubs have said to showed interest in Kubo including Ajax, Lazio, Celtic and 10 teams from Spain – including Real Sociedad and Betis. The French giants are firmly in the drivers seat, even though Kubo rejected a €4m salary deal from them last summer.

He said: “I think the season is good, he plays regularly and that is what we were all looking for. He is a very interesting player, present and future. I’m glad for your season. I wish you the best and we will see next year, it will be decided later.”
