Barcelona star Neymar has certainly been having a lot of fun on Snapchat, with the newly single Brazilian international posting a message to the singer, Demi Lovato.
The 25-year-old filmed himself in his car singing along to her new song ‘Sorry not Sorry’ and also blew a kiss to the American star.
The video can be seen below.
The Barca man is recently single after breaking up with model Bruna Marquezine and maybe Neymar is trying his luck with the famous singer and songwriter.
The former Santos man’s future has been a hot topic of discussion in recent days with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly ready to trigger his enormous release clause of €220m.
Neymar is said to be unhappy with being in Lionel Messi’s shadow despite the two being very close off the field.
Should he make the surprising move to the French capital, PSG would be missing a trick if in their announcement post they didn’t say ‘Sorry not Sorry’.
Gareth Bale has insisted that he will remain a Real Madrid player next season despite struggling in his fourth season with the club.
An injury-hit 2016-17 season saw the Welshman net just 9 times in 27 appearances, a shadow of his debut campaign during which he scored 22 times. However, in a recent interview with Spanish news outlet Marca, Bale stated “I signed a long contract in Madrid and I am happy in this club.”
The Welsh star is currently participating in the club’s pre-season camp in Los Angeles and is currently under contract until 2022 after signing a new deal in October 2016 worth around £350,000 a week after tax.
Since joining Los Blancos in 2013 Bale has enjoyed a successful spell in the Spanish capital. Alongside his 67 goals, which could have been more had injuries not taken their toll, the former Spurs player has won the UEFA Champions League three times alongside bagging winners medals in the Copa del Rey and La Liga.
However, the rise of Spanish wonderkid Marco Asensio has put Bale under increased pressure for a place in the starting lineup. Asensio enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season following his return from a loan spell at Espanyol and when asked about the recent Spanish international, Bale declared: “It is normal to have good players in Madrid.”
While Bale intends to stay, one Real Madrid player on the move is striker Alvaro Morata who is set to join AC Milan in a £61m deal according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
It has been reported that a move is close to completion and the money recieved will be used to strengthen a big for Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe.
Following Manchester United’s comfortable 5-2 win against LA Galaxy in their pre-season tour of the US, Jose Mourinho had a few words to say regarding the transfer activity between the Red Devils and Real Madrid.
Indeed, in a post-match conference, Mourinho accepted that Manchester United’s chase for Real Madrid Striker Alvaro Morata is over, Goal reports.
The special one had spoken words of appraisal and admiration for his former player and admits that it was a ‘shame’ that the transfer did not go through.
Morata was a target for the Red Devils for a couple of months but following the surprise bid of Romelu Lukaku for a reported £75m having been accepted, Manchester United called off the deal with the Spanish forward.
When asked about Morata, Mourinho said: “He belongs to Madrid. Madrid has decided and we have not come to an agreement. It is simple. It’s a shame.
“It is a player who made it to the first team with me. We have a special liking for [him], he is someone special. I enjoyed watching his evolution in Juventus and Madrid. It is like that. I don’t think he can end with us.”
Despite only playing 26 games with Real Madrid last season, Morata’s statistics were still impressive.
The Spanish striker managed to score 15 goals and create 17 chances.
United ultimately decided that Lukaku was the right man to lead their front line as he has consistently performed well in the Premier League for the last couple of years.
The strong Belgian managed to score 25 goals and created 46 chances in the Premier League last season with Everton.
Alvaro Morata has seemingly dyed his hair red, as seen in his recent Instagram posts – showing just how certain the forward was to join Manchester United before being forgotten about by the Red Devils.
It all seemed set in stone. Morata to United was all but a done deal; only £6m stood between Madrid and Jose Mourinho in their valuation of the player and at one point the transfer was supposed to be done ‘within the week’ – subject to medical and all that malarkey.
A four-year contract was basically waiting on the table for him to sign and the 24-year-old Spaniard would become the replacement of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Alas, it wasn’t to be.
Out of absolutely nowhere, United agreed upon a £75m deal with Everton to sign their star man Romelu Lukaku and the transfer was completed within mere days.
Just like that, Morata was a forgotten man, no longer needed at Old Trafford and after reports claimed that he had already told his teammates that he was on his way out of the Bernabeu, the forward was forced to return to pre-season with his tail between his legs, looking rather red-faced – with hair to match.
Indeed, Morata returned to training with the Spanish champions having dyed his hair red. According to Marca, this could well be because of his excitement at joining the Red Devils; the forward desperate to look the part as best he can ahead of his long awaited move to Manchester.
The saddest part of it all may be the fact that it’s simply now a red hue on his head from the striker undergoing a buzz-cut – most likely shaving off his neat trim after hearing the news that Mourinho had signed Lukaku.
Simply imagining what that scene would look like is heartbreaking.
